himawari is a cheerful young girl with a brightly optimistic attitude despite her being an orphan. she is also rather considerate toward others, giving up things that she feels other people need or want more. she is extremely well-read for her age, showing a keen interest in learning whatever she can. while she would still like to explore other career options, she does eventually join the academy in order to gain the necessary skills should she decide to become a shinobi after all.

despite her kind and compassionate nature, however, himawari does have a bit of a temper. she can become frighteningly enraged when provoked and is not a force to be trifled with in spite of her young age. she's also quite stubborn, determined to achieve any goal she sets her mind to.

(10-13) himawari is an academy student whose prospects of graduating early are looking pretty good right now. as an orphan of the hyuga clan, himawari was mostly raised communally, but ultimately came to be unfortunately mature for her age, taking matters of her educational disciplines into her own hands. she wants to experience what the world has to offer and feels that becoming a genin will set her on that path, regardless of whether or not she decides the shinobi life is the life for her.
